Overview
The Talent Acquisition Manager works to develop and continuously improve upon a comprehensive, innovative, best practice talent acquisition strategy to attract top talent to fulfill the organization’s mission, vision, values.
The duties and responsibilities described below represent the general tasks performed on a daily basis; other tasks may be assigned. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Responsibilities
Develop an innovative, comprehensive talent acquisition strategy, focused on attracting high quality candidates.
Update talent acquisition plans, as needed, aligned with approved strategic goals and initiatives.
Partner with leaders across the organization to conduct short and long-term workforce planning.
Optimize corporate careers page and effectively utilize advertising sources such as commercial job boards, professional associations, professional or social networks, and social media platforms.
Provide project management for the development and deployment of talent acquisition materials.
Host creative, cutting-edge in-person and virtual recruitment events to improve attendance.
Advise talent acquisition team members, leaders, and peer interviewers on best practice interviewing and candidate evaluation/selection.
Define, monitor, and report on team performance metrics and goals (e.g. time-to-fill, recruitment funnel metrics, etc.).
Partner with HRIS team to streamline electronic processes and optimize the applicant tracking system capabilities.
Reports and Supervises Reports to : Director, Workforce Development
Supervises : Recruiters and other staff related to recruitment functions
Qualifications Minimum Required Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related Field.
Preferred Education : Masters Degree
Experience : A minimum of 4 years of experience recruiting employees with demonstrated goal achievement and results. Experience shall include at least 2 years of strategy development and supervision of a team.
Certifications preferred: CHCR - NACHRA, PHR or SPHR - HRCI, SHRM-SCP or SHRM-CP - SHRM
