The purpose of this position is to perform administrative functions to support the day-to-day HR operations of a research center. Create and post new positions. Process new hires, initiate background checks. Ensure new employees complete onboarding tasks in Workday. Serve as I-9 partner.Process HR transactions such as reallocations, transfers, reclassifications, additional duties pay, and other changes to employment for center staff. Update accounting spreadsheets and maintain digital files on Box according to these changes. Perform periodic internal audits and as requested by the COO. Process key requests. Work with COO on space management. Grant Community Pages access to new hires.* Bachelor's Degree in Human resource management, business administration, social sciences, public administration or a related field.* At least 2 years of experience in Human Resources administration or related field.* Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.* Demonstrated ability to navigate shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.* Experience working in a university environment.* Prior experience using Workday.* Familiarity with UT policies and procedures.**Start Here, Change the World**At The University of Texas at Austin, tradition meets innovation in the heart of a city that frequents lists of the best places to live and work.
