Attorney Recruiting Assistant

to join its Legal Talent team. Under the direction of the Attorney Recruiting Manager, the assistant supports legal recruiting and on-boarding processes for entry-level hires and supports development and implementation of the firm’s Summer Associate Program. This position also supports the firm’s Chief Talent Officer by providing executive administrative support. This position is eligible to participate in the firm’s flexible work program. RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Support the development and execution of the firm’s summer associate program, including planning and attending events, facilitating orientation and pre-summer communications, processing expense reimbursements and vendor invoices, assisting with tracking program budgets and helping coordinate work assignments and evaluations Assist with coordinating all aspects of on-campus interview and call-back interview processes, including interview scheduling and student communication, preparation of information for the Recruiting Committee, and data tracking and reporting for on-campus recruiting results Support law student outreach initiatives, including attending and engaging with candidates at recruiting receptions and local law school special interest organizations designed to enhance the firm’s brand and reputation in the market Assist with onboarding communications and integration activities for entry-level hires Create, update, and distribute recruiting materials and supplies, including forms and manuals Maintains and updates content on the Legal Talent intranet page, external website, social media, and official firm profiles (NALP, Flo Recruit, etc.) Assist with scheduling meetings and administrative tasks for the entry-level team and facilitating interdepartmental communications Executive Administrative Support

Manage Chief Talent Officer’s calendar and appointments, including scheduling internal and external meetings or conference calls and coordinating team and/or department activities and events Provide administrative support including creating, editing organizing documents for internal or external meetings and events, coordinating travel arrangements, processing expenses, reimbursements and invoices, assisting with monthly departmental budget and assisting with coordinating and setting up events, including but not limited to catering orders, event logistics, vendor support, etc. Participate in firm and community events to support the Wiley brand Legal Talent Department Support

Assist with supervision and project management of temporary Legal Talent hires (as requested) Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices, ensuring consistency of Firm recruiting policies and procedures Maintain documentation or data related to firm competitors or other business intelligence Provide other general administrative support or work on other special projects as needed to support the operations of the Legal Talent Department Meet the department\'s expectations to retrieve, read and/or respond to firm and client-related e-mail messages during and outside of core business hours by connecting a personal mobile device to the firm\'s network Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to communicate professionally and effectively, both in oral and written form Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels of firm personnel Ability to demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize/coordinate deadlines and activities, and track progress of tasks Ability to think critically and analytically in a deadline-driven environment Possesses integrity, good judgment, and sensitivity to handling sensitive matters with discretion Must maintain confidentiality of work-related information and materials Demonstrates a strong customer service orientation Must establish and maintain effective working relationships in or out of a team environment Willingness to learn and adopt new methodologies Flexibility to work overtime on an as-needed basis Understanding and proficiency of applicant tracking systems such as ViRecruit and platforms such as Flo Recruit and Symplicity Education and Experience

Minimum

one (1) year

of legal recruiting or law firm industry experience

strongly preferred . Prior office experience required High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred Work Environment

Position operates in a professional office environment which is usually quiet to moderate Position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets Position requires that the employee be able to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment Physical Demands

This position is primarily a sedentary position. However, some duties and responsibilities may require the employee to lift files, open filing cabinets, bend or stand, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, occasionally move about to access office equipment, file cabinets, etc. May require employee to carry or lift items weighing up to 10 pounds This description outlines the basic requirements of this position. It is not intended to be a complete description as other duties may be assigned. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $60,000 to $65,000 annually. Actual salary will be determined based on skills, experience and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable law.
