Position Description Overall Responsibilities: The Territory Sales Manager for our Door Division will represent VT Industries in a positive business-like manner within the assigned territory with customers, architects, building owners, and industry influencers to achieve business objectives, meet sales plans, and increase market share. The region encompasses Texas and New Mexico with possible future expansion.

Selected candidates MUST reside in the sales territory, with a preference to live in Houston, Dallas, Austin, or San Antonio. Essential Job Functions: Meet sales objectives and execute division sales strategy within assigned territory Maintain Executive Management Relations and provide customer account support / service Develop sales relationship with all door personnel Provide Product Training and Support and Coordinate VT

training and usage Provide industry and product specific training to architects, distributors, and end-users Communicate product offerings and updates and provide technical support Provide accurate and timely market intelligence and monthly sales / committed projects reports Provide applicable job-site inspections and quality claims reports Assist with credit information and collection Present AIA approved training courses using PP and participate in regional / national trade shows Monitor and track major projects via Construct Connect Network Utilize marketing direction and materials to enhance sales Identify opportunities that will increase sales in the territory, communicate these opportunities to the appropriate managers Perform duties listed within the designated budget and perform duties as directed by the supervisor Build relationship with the Inside Team based on trust, respect, and appreciation Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Must reside in the sales territory with a valid driver’s license and good driving record 5+ Years Inside and/or outside “on the road” sales experience inbuilding products industry Knowledge of architectural specifications, product and industry are required, and prior industry and product specific understanding of the wood door and millwork industry is preferred. Inside and/or outside sales experience in architectural products Willing to travel overnight 2-3 nights per week with a travel requirement of 50-75% Excellent computer skills and adept at using Excel,Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Salesforce, and McGraw Hill / Dodge service Excellent written and verbal communication skills and exceptional public speaker Skilled in negotiations, organization, time management, problem solving, consultative selling and presentation skills. Ability to travel between multiple facilities as required to perform core job duties. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Ability to bend body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist.
