Primary Purpose of this position: Processing weekly payroll time records, processing and posting payroll checks and submitting weekly reports Specific Job Duties: Verify and Process daily/weekly time entry from timesheets or remote software Process weekly time records and payments to employees Assist with preparation and remittance of all payments for employee deductions Process weekly employee per diems and expense reimbursements Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee payroll inquiries Review and Process weekly travel incentive pay Assist with maintenance and review of employee paid time off Prepare and distribute weekly job labor reports Assist with preparation and remittance of weekly and/or monthly payroll taxes Assist with preparation and remittance of weekly 401K, HSA, STD Assist Supervisor to ensure and maintain accurate employee records Assist Supervisor with all inquiries from employees and address them in a timely and professional manner Assist with other projects and duties as needed by the accounting department Skills and Abilities: Willingness and ability to self-educate on all software used in payroll processes Ability to multitask with specific deadlines Confidentiality and respect for privacy of employee records Willingness to continue learning all functions of the payroll and accounting department Education and Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Human Resources required or 3+ years of progressive payroll experience Physical Requirements: Normal lifting and bending that would typically be required in an office environment.
