About us We are a full-service plumbing, mechanical, HVAC service, controls, and design-build company. Main office is located at 6127 South Valley Pike, Mount Crawford, VA 22841 Primary Purpose of the Delivery Driver position Loads and delivers construction related materials and equipment to construction sites. Specific job duties Safely operate all classes of RBI vehicles. Safely load/unload and secure all types of materials and equipment. Possess a working knowledge of DOT rules and regulations. Perform pre-trip and post trip inspections per DOT requirements. Maintain driver’s daily logbooks as required by the DOT. Plan delivery routes to maximize efficiency and maintain job schedules. Experience with operating equipment such as forklift, backhoe, and boom lift is a plus Education, Training, Licenses and/or Certifications OSHA 10-Hour Certification required as a minimum, additional training may be required Valid class A CDL and the ability to meet our company driver qualification policy Physical requirements Ability to work outside in all weather conditions Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and frequently carry 40 lbs. unassisted Ability to work at heights including climbing stairs and working from ladders Ability to stand, squat, bend, stoop, and normal lifting and bending that would typically be required in a warehouse environment Must be able to use hands to reach for, grasp and manipulate objects Additional Requirements Comply with all safety standards, policies, and procedures Comply with all company policies and procedures Maintain a clean work area and comply with housekeeping requirements Punctual and regular attendance Ability to work as a team and interact with people Participate in training and educational opportunities as offered or required by the company A valid Class A CDL required and ability to meet company driver qualification policy preferred Ability to work 8- or 10-hour days, flexible schedule, and overtime when necessary If you are interested in Teamwork Safety and Quality then a career with Riddleberger Brothers, Inc. may be right for you; we strive to work safely and exceed customer expectations!
