Overview

Senior Technical Recruiter — $65–$90/hr (Hybrid NYC, 3 days/week). Length: 6 months with strong potential to convert to full-time. Location: New York, NY (in-office Tue–Thu; remote-friendly on other days). Start: ASAP. Join a consumer-scale product company investing in AI/ML and new market expansion. Youll own hard-to-fill searches across engineering, data, AI/ML, infrastructure, product, and design—and directly influence how high-impact teams are built. Run full-cycle searches for senior and niche technical roles from intake through close Build diverse, high-quality pipelines through advanced sourcing and market mapping Partner with technical and product leaders on hiring strategy, workforce planning, and role design Deliver a high-touch candidate experience with clear, consistent communication Mentor junior teammates and coordinators to uplevel recruiting craft and process Use data to forecast outcomes, report on funnel health, and inform decision-making Collaborate with People Ops/Talent Ops to refine tools, workflows, and interview design What You’ll Bring

6–8+ years of recruiting, including 4+ years focused on technical roles in high-growth or consumer tech environments Proven success closing senior engineers, data scientists, and other hard-to-hire profiles Stakeholder management excellence with managers through VPs; able to influence decisions Advanced sourcing chops (passive talent engagement, talent mapping, referrals) Clear, persuasive storytelling that connects candidates to mission, product, and impact Experience mentoring others and improving team process Tools fluency: Lever (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter; familiarity with GoodTime or equivalent schedulers; GitHub literacy a plus Commitment to inclusive hiring practices that reduce bias and broaden representation Values-led approach: authentic communication, courageous problem-solving, empathetic partnership Success Looks Like

Managing ~10–12 open reqs with measurable progress week over week Shortening time-to-fill toward ~45–60 days while maintaining high quality Strong hiring manager satisfaction and candidate experience feedback Clear pipeline reporting, proactive risk flags, and crisp close plans Why This Role
