We’re working with a fast-growing company in Raleigh, NC to find a Senior Accountant who is eager to make an impact, grow their skill set, and advance within a dynamic environment. In this role, you’ll be a key player in the month-end close process, contribute to systems improvements, support internal controls, and dive into both variance and ad hoc analysis.
This is a hybrid role that offers flexibility and a clear path for advancement—with exposure across teams and functions.
Responsibilities: Manage and support the general ledger and month end close process, including journal entries and accruals. Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure the accuracy of the data through detailed reconciliations and ad hoc analysis Assist in the preparation and coordination of external audits, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements. Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including financial modeling and scenario analysis. Provide detailed reconciliations and variance analysis Participate in special projects as the business dictates
Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. CPA is a plus Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting software Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting.
