The Senior Relationship Banker plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional banking experiences that foster lasting relationships with customers. This role involves providing comprehensive products and services that leverage the full capabilities of Broadway Bank, ensuring clients' needs are met through effective consultation and collaboration. Essential Functions:
Collaborate with team members to provide outstanding service and meet goals. Use a consultative sales approach to recommend products and services based on customer needs. Identify referral opportunities and ensure follow-up with specialists. Introduce customers to appropriate team members for additional opportunities. Maintain thorough knowledge of the bank’s products and services. Engage in campaigns and promotions, scheduling follow-ups as needed. Utilize EnAct to document activities, schedule follow-ups, and identify sales opportunities. Oversee new customer onboarding and account opening processes. Assist the Financial Center Manager with sales and service protocols to drive growth. Ensure compliance with security protocols, laws, and regulations. Model Broadway Bank’s values and foster team engagement. Meet operational standards, including transaction processing and customer inquiries. Authorize check cashing, overdraft payments, and cashier’s checks within limits. Manage the Safe Deposit area, ensuring compliance and audit readiness. Assume responsibility for the financial center in the absence of the Manager. Perform other duties as assigned. Experience & Education:
3+ years in financial services, including new accounts and consumer loans. Proven sales and service success with meeting sales goals. High School diploma required; some college preferred. Skills & Qualifications:
Effective communication and engagement skills. Cultural intelligence for diverse populations. Team engagement and collaboration skills. Self-development commitment. Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills. Proficiency with banking software and CRM systems. Ability to analyze customer needs and propose solutions. Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of banking products, services, and compliance. Other Requirements:
Meet financial responsibility and character standards as per Regulation Z. Complete pre-employment testing successfully. Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) eligibility with NMLS and the S.A.F.E. Act. Ability to lift/move objects weighing up to 10 lbs. regularly. Occasional overtime or extended hours may be required. Benefits:
