Our fast-growing and well-established company is seeking a full-time on-site role for an Accounting Manager located in Tampa, FL. Our team thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, where innovation and growth are encouraged. As an Accounting Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing our accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate has a solid managerial skills, understanding of accounting principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Accounting department Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, reconciliations, and ledgers Key liaison between headquarters Accounting team and all oversea subsidiary divisions Familiar with international accounting & tax practice Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Manage the company's general ledger, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards Manage monthly bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies Prepare financial reports, including budget variance analysis Manage the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations Manage audits, both internal and external, and provide necessary documentation Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to increase efficiency Recruit and develop Accounting talents Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making Requirements
3-5 years of accounting managerial experience Must be proficient with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook) and other accounting software such as QuickBooks, Dynamics365 Business Central, or similar platforms Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Strong leadership, analytical skills, and attention to detail Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal CPA or working towards CPA certification is a plus but not required Bilingual preferred (Mandarin or Spanish) Able to lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation Join our team and help us cool the world
