The Chargeback Analyst will be responsible for the timely review and validation of debit memos submitted for chargebacks through Model N Flex with complete accuracy. The incumbent will also resolve chargeback errors, communicate with wholesalers on a daily basis and manage chargeback accounts resulting in more than $8B in annual chargebacks. Proper issuance of chargebacks allows for indirect sales data to reflect accurate data used for sales and customer incentives and profitability analysis. The specialist is responsible for doing analysis of accounts, using internal reporting tools, to identify associated error/dollar trends and will report results to management. How you’ll spend your day

Analyze daily chargeback transactions and ensure timely processing (3–5 days) in Model N Flex. Investigate and resolve chargeback errors to prevent systemic issues and potential revenue leakage. Act as the primary contact for wholesalers, customers, national account managers, and internal teams (pricing, AR, finance, government pricing, IT, EDI, returns, rebates). Provide account analysis and reporting to support management decisions. Manage wholesaler relationships: lead recurring calls, prepare agendas, track issues, document minutes, and follow up on action items. Deliver analysis of indirect sales reporting to Account Managers, Branded Business Unit, and Government Pricing teams; identify trends and communicate business impact. Partner with Accounts Receivable to reconcile chargeback deductions and resolve disputes. Support internal and external audits (SOX, PWC, functional audits) with data investigation, documentation, and resolution of claims. Collaborate with the Rebates team to reconcile discrepancies between rebate claims and chargeback indirect sales. Identify and escalate Model N and EDI system issues; coordinate with IT/EDI teams to drive resolution and provide regular updates to management. Track, summarize, and present chargeback/accounting issues and trends to management. The hybrid model for this position includes 3 days working from the office and 2 days working from home (Tuesday & Wednesday). Your experience and qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a corporate or pharmaceutical environment, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Customer Service, Marketing, Memberships/Chargebacks, or related analytical functions. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with internet research tools. Experience with Model N Flex is highly desirable. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with clients, wholesalers, and internal teams. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and propose solutions. The annual starting salary for this position is between $77,120 – $101,220 annually. Factors which may affect starting salary within this range and level of role may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Benefits
