Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full cycle of accounting activities, including but not limited to reviewing source documents, preparing journal entries, and maintaining general and subsidiary ledgers.
Perform timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing procedures.
Prepare and analyze financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement) and provide insights and recommendations to management.
Manage daily operations for accounts receivable, accounts payable, employee expense reimbursements, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare work for tax filings, collaborate with external accountants/tax advisors, and ensure compliance with U.S. federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Participate in internal and external audits, providing required documentation and assisting with the implementation of audit recommendations.
Maintain and optimize financial processes and internal controls to improve efficiency and mitigate risks.
Handle financial communication and coordination with headquarters or other Mandarin-speaking teams/clients/vendors.
Perform other related financial and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of full-time relevant accounting experience. Hands-on experience with U.S. GAAP is highly preferred.
Native or fluent proficiency in Mandarin Chinese, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and MS Office Suite (with advanced Excel skills).
Strong numerical and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
High degree of professionalism, integrity, and ability to handle confidential information. Must be responsible and a team player.
CPA certification or equivalent is a plus.
