Job Summary We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Real Estate Appraiser to join our Jacksonville office. This role covers a diverse territory throughout Northeast Florida, the Florida Panhandle, and surrounding markets. You’ll work on complex valuation assignments across multiple property types and purposes, including financial reporting, acquisitions, mortgage lending, portfolio analysis, feasibility studies, litigation support, eminent domain, and estate planning. Key Responsibilities Conduct property inspections, subject and market research and analysis, along with valuations across a wide range of commercial real estate assets. Prepare detailed appraisal and consulting reports tailored to client needs. Collaborate with senior MAI-designated professionals on complex assignments. Interface directly with clients, providing clear, data-supported insights. Contribute to high-profile projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Participate and support in the growth of the Jacksonville office. Qualifications Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Experience preparing appraisals for various commercial property types. Solid understanding of valuation principles, commercial real estate terminology, and property tax jurisdictional processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and valuation/reporting tools (e.g., Argus, Excel, CoStar). Self-starter mindset with a passion for professional growth. Collaborative and responsive approach with leadership and clients. Education & Requirements Bachelor’s degree required. Active Florida Certified General Appraiser License required. Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Commercial Real Estate Appraiser (broad property type exposure preferred). Reliable personal vehicle and valid auto insurance required for territory travel. Applicants must be based in the general North Florida Region.
