Our team is made up of driven professionals who take pride in what they do, and we’re looking for a Controller to help take our financial operations to the next level. Position Summary:
As Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company’s operations. This includes managing day-to-day accounting functions, job costing, cash flow, budgeting, and reporting. You’ll work closely with leadership to provide financial insight that supports smart, strategic decision-making and helps drive continued growth. Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all accounting operations, including AR, AP, payroll, GL, and bank reconciliations Develop and maintain accurate job costing and work-in-progress (WIP) schedules Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports Monitor cash flow, manage budgets, and forecast financial performance Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable tax regulations Oversee audits, tax preparation, and financial compliance activities Evaluate and improve internal controls, accounting procedures, and systems Collaborate with project managers to analyze job performance and profitability Provide strategic financial input to support business decisions Qualifications:
5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience; construction industry experience strongly preferred Strong understanding of job costing, WIP, and percent-complete accounting Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage a small accounting team What We Offer:
