We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team and support the Accounting Department. The Ideal Candidate Analytical:

Able to shift priorities quickly based on business needs. The Main Duties Process daily accounting operations, including ACH, share drafts, and wires. Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Reconcile general ledger and balance sheet accounts; investigate and resolve discrepancies. Support external and internal audits, examinations, and regulatory reporting. Monitor internal controls and recommend process improvements. Assist members and staff with accounting-related inquiries in alignment with PSCU’s mission and values. Collaborate with leadership on projects, system upgrades, and strategic initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned by leadership. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a credit union or financial institution. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Excel skills preferred. Prior credit union or financial institution accounting experience preferred. Familiarity with core banking/accounting systems preferred.
