Administrator, Senior System Support Position Notes: Palmetto Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree, or 4 years of related work experience, or 2 years of related experience plus an associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree Required Work Experience: 4 years of technical experience with systems analysis, design, and/or programming or other IT experience Role is Onsite Must be able to obtain a CMS Security Clearance Team Name: EDI Interoperability Standards (FHIR) Team Hours: 08:00 am to 05:00 pm; some off hours and weekend work may be required Duties and Responsibilities

Provide system/production support and monitoring for applications, batch cycles, releases, projects, installations, etc. Participate in work sessions for system support and problem resolution. May coordinate workload transition tasks. 25% Perform/Support installation, configuration, administration, implementation, scheduling, and/or tuning/modification of applications. Support moderate to complex system/production performance concerns. Collaborate with internal groups and external vendors to ensure specifications are met and problems are resolved. 25% Assist in analysis of problems/issues. Perform corrective actions to fix abnormally ending applications; notify technical support for resolution. Communicate with on-call personnel to repair applications. Consult with senior peers on complex projects. 15% Evaluate system performance in real time and via reports for release-related issues. Monitor and report on scheduled batch and online applications for successful/unsuccessful execution. Review abnormal results/issues from previous cycles and verify resolution. May perform system backups. 15% Verify Production and Test environments are up and functioning. Perform testing as needed. Create and review documentation for accuracy and standards. 15% Participate in work sessions and walkthroughs for quality and production implementations, releases, data conversion projects, and disaster recovery exercises. Attend implementation meetings to determine impact on system availability and resource assignment. 5% Identify improvement opportunities in cycles and procedures. May create new programs to automate release processes. Assist with recommendations in application enhancement projects. Required Skills and Abilities

Understand data storage techniques, database philosophy, database management, and programming techniques. Maintain production systems and assess the impact of program changes. Use structured techniques in new program development. Understand development, quality assurance, and integration methodologies. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team. Attention to detail. Required Software and Other Tools

Strong knowledge of relevant operating systems, programming languages, and development/productivity tools used in the company. Work Environment

Fast-paced, multi-platform environment which may require action and response 24x7 to support the technical business needs of customers. Customer-focused, project-oriented applications support environment. Education and Experience

Required Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree, or 4 years of related work experience, or 2 years of related experience plus an associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job related degree Required Work Experience:

4 years of technical experience with systems analysis, design, and/or programming or other IT experience Technologies

Healthcare Electronic Data Exchange (EDI) and Interoperability standards EDI Interoperability standards such as HL7, X12, FHIR Familiarity with Linux/Unix-based systems to install and configure EDI COTS products in the Healthcare Industry Agile/Scrum Project Management Scripting languages: Windows Batch/PowerShell, Linux shell scripting, Python Managing & remediating security findings Any AWS Cloud experience is a bonus Nice To Have

Experience and knowledge of Healthcare EDI and Interoperability standards Expertise in developing EDI Interoperability standards such as HL7, X12, FHIR Experience in Product Ownership and customization of EDI COTS products in Healthcare Ability to install and maintain EDI COTS products in Healthcare Strong communication skills to work with customers on requirements, presentations, and Proof of Concepts for EDI Use Cases Adaptability to changing work assignments and a willingness to learn new standards and technologies Ability to work with team strengths and weaknesses Experience with Agile/Scrum Project Management Compensation and Benefits

This is the pay range Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position:
