Summary: We are looking for a talented, driven individual to learn about the transportation industry and play a key role in several of our key Finance and Business processes. This individual needs to be detail oriented, hardworking, reliable, and able to think outside the box and strive to help the Company improve the efficiency of Finance and other Business processes. Duties: Manage customer invoicing process Research credit ratings and references of prospective customers to determine creditworthiness Accounts Payable – audit of invoices, remittance and application of payments Accounts Receivable – payment application and effective communication with customers Manage inbound credit card payments from customers. Projects – Assist with: Automation of AP process utilizing Transportation, Accounting, and AP software Automation of vendor invoice auditing and documentation retrieval Desired Range of Experience: 0 – 3 years of experience Finance, Accounting, or other business degree preferred but not required Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Self-starter, self-motivated, strong desire to learn new skills and think critically Ability to learn/navigate various software and systems Benefits: Salaried position (amount based on experience) Employee sponsored health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, and 401k plan + Company match.
