Independent Living Coach
to join our vibrant team and support participants in developing life-changing skills that promote greater self-reliance and community engagement. What You'll Do:
As an
Independent Living Coach , you'll be a mentor, advocate, and coach. Your impact will go far beyond a job description—you're helping shape lives. Build trusting, person-centered relationships with participants and families. Support individuals in achieving their Person-Centered Plans (PCPs) through activities that build social, vocational, and communication skills. Implement skill-building strategies in daily living, self-advocacy, academics, motor development, and more. Assist with mobility training and personal care, when needed. Provide community-based support and drive participants using League vehicles. Track progress, behaviors, and engagement using our digital systems (iCare). Be a role model of The League’s

A
heart for service
and a passion for supporting individuals with disabilities. High school diploma or GED
(Associate’s degree in a related field preferred). At least 1 year
of experience working with individuals with developmental/behavioral disabilities. A
valid driver’s license , 2 years of driving experience, and a clean record (no more than 3 points). Strong communication skills and basic computer proficiency (Word, Outlook, data entry). Why Join The League?
