School of Family & Consumer Sciences Position Description:

The School of Family & Consumer Sciences seeks to develop a pool of candidates for possible temporary/nontenured faculty to teach courses in Consumer Affairs, Family & Consumer Sciences, Fashion Merchandising, Human Development and Family Sciences, Interior Design, and Nutrition. Temporary/nontenured faculty are appointed to teach one to four courses per semester based upon student demand. Eligibility for annual reappointment is contingent upon satisfactory annual performance evaluations, continuity of funding, and departmental need. Successful candidates may teach at the San Marcos and Round Rock campuses and/or online, depending on departmental needs. This posting is for the fall 2024, spring 2025, and summer 2024/2025 semesters. Required Qualifications:

A minimum of a master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in the teaching field is generally required. Preferred Qualifications:

Previous teaching experience is preferred. Application Procedures:
