Develop ground satellite operations software using Python and AWS services Build Python microservices deployed to cloud or on-premise environments with a focus on scalability, security, cost, and performance Collaborate with cross-functional teams including satellite operators and software engineers to gather requirements, implement features, and resolve issues Optimize resource utilization and automate processes using Kubernetes and AWS best practices Contribute to the efficient and reliable operations of thousands of satellites Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field 4+ years of professional experience in backend development, DevOps, or a related role Proficiency in Python and Java or C++; experience deploying and maintaining software in Kubernetes Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, ECS, EKS, CloudWatch, S3, EFS/EBS, EC2, and RDS Experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting APIs, distributed NoSQL and relational databases, caching systems, and event-driven multi-tier architectures Experience building containerized applications and serverless architectures Strong background in task automation and CI/CD pipeline development using GitHub or GitLab Must have an Active U.S. TS/SCI security clearance Compensation
Salary Range: $120,000 - $175,000 depending on experience Comprehensive Benefits: Cigna Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave if required by law, and Holidays Keywords
