The Job at a Glance As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you’ll design, develop, and optimize high-performance web applications using React.js, Next.js, and modern frontend technologies in a fast-paced eCommerce environment. You’ll drive architectural decisions, best practices, and deliver exceptional user experiences while collaborating with cross-functional teams to create scalable, secure, and performant UI components and micro-frontends. Focus areas include frontend architecture, performance optimization, accessibility, security, and driving automation in CI/CD pipelines.
A Typical Day
Develop scalable, secure, and performant frontend architectures with React and Next.js
Implement micro-frontend strategies, UI componentization, and maintainable design patterns
Drive performance optimization (e.g., TTI, FCP, caching strategies) and ensure high code quality
Define and enforce CI/CD workflows, tooling standards, and performance monitoring
Collaborate with backend, DevOps, and product teams to integrate APIs, CMS, and third-party services
Mentor teams, share knowledge, and advocate for frontend engineering excellence across the organization
To Land This Opportunity
You have s trong experience with eCommerce frontend architecture and major platforms (SAP Commerce, Magento, Salesforce, etc.)
You have in-depth knowledge of performance optimization, caching strategies, and SSR/SSG in Next.js.
You are proficient in API consumption (REST, GraphQL ), frontend testing (Jest, Cypress), and cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
You have experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and containerization
You have 5+ years of frontend development experience and a Bachelor's/ Master's in Computer Science or equivalent

The salary range for this role i s $ 108 ,060.89 – 144,586.73 which is based on including but not limited to qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Parts Town is a pay for performance-company. In addition to base pay, some roles offer a profit-sharing program, and an annual bonus depending on the role. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) with match, employee assistance programs, paid time off, paid sick time off, paid holidays, paid parental leave, and professional development opportunities.
