Walker Methodist Shared Services
seeks a Chef/Kitchen Manager to prepare high-quality meals according to therapeutic diets/preferences, manage food orders/inventory, customer service satisfaction, adhere to budget guidelines and supervise cooks. The Chef/Kitchen Manager must be willing to regularlytravel toall Walker Methodist communities in St. Paul and Minneapolis.
Full-time days, Monday through Friday including every other weekend.
Qualifications
Associate's degree in Culinary Arts ServSafe certification and/or Food Manager's license High school diploma or equivalent Able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs on a regular basis Working knowledge of food preparation methods and terminology Three years experience as a culinary supervisor in the food industry Ability to effectively lead and develop cooks, dishwashers and waitstaff Ability to liveWalker Methodist's Customer Service Principles Ability to embrace Walker Methodist's Mission: Life.
