REP | East Helena Admin Support Summary of Job Duties:
This is a physician faculty position based in Helena, Arkansas. The incumbent’s clinical role will be as a primary care physician at the Family Medical Center, Helena. The faculty member may be called upon to precept medical students/residents as needs arise. Teaching medical students/residents is an important part of faculty members’ roles. The incumbent will be expected to participate in the teaching of students and residents in the clinic and the classroom if called upon. The faculty member will be primarily providing clinical care (46 percent). The rest of the incumbent’s time (4 percent) will be allocated to administration, including patient follow-up and clinical documentation. The faculty member will be expected to participate in departmental activities, such as conferences, meetings, and educational activities and also contribute to quality improvement projects with other members of the faculty. Time and effort allocations will be determined annually or as assignments change. Qualifications:
