Overview
Fairview Urgent Care Centers provide convenient medical care weekdays, evenings and weekends. Advance Practice Providers working in urgent care provide a broad spectrum of non-emergent care for minor illness and injury. All hospital admissions are referred to the physician on-call for these practices. Moonlighters are needed for a variety of shifts at M Health Fairview urgent care centers and at other M Health Fairview clinics in the metro area. Hours vary by site. Volume fluctuates seasonally. Provide non-emergent care for minor illness and injury as part of urgent care services. See pediatric and adult patients as needed. Moonlighters work across M Health Fairview urgent care centers and clinics with hours varying by site. Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program BC/BE through NCCPA Licensed or ability to obtain a PA license with prescriptive authority through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges (if required) Must be comfortable seeing pediatric and adult patients At least 1–2 years urgent care or clinic experience as an APP. Internal, Fairview employed providers only at this time Skills required – suturing, splinting, I and D Benefits
