JR1980**Job Description:**Job Objective: Seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our outpatient behavioral health team. In this role, you will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive treatment to adults experiencing a range of mental health conditions, including substance use disorders and intellectual disabilities. This role includes medication management including buprenorphine/naloxone and other Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) options.Qualifications:



Masters or Doctoral degree in nursing from an accredited institution



Current and unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner in New Hampshire



Board – certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP – BC)



Minimum two (2) years of experience in an outpatient mental health setting



Experience working with diverse populations, including those with co–occurring disorders



Experience working with clients with intellectual disabilities preferred



Active DEA License with MAT Prescribing authority



Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation**Qualifications Needed for Billing Purposes as Applicable (if not billing for this position a waiver is required for the personnel file):**



Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare (CAQH) number, or ability to obtain



National Provider number, or ability to obtain



Current State License or Certification



Current National Certification if required



Current updated Resume/Curriculum Vitale, including Easter Seals



Degree certificate or transcript



Malpractice insurance per Agency policy



Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) certificate if applicable



Current Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS) certificate if applicable



All relevant documentation regarding sanctions and/or malpractice actions, if any



All relevant identification numbers i.e. Unique Physician ID Number (UPIN), Medicare, Medicaid, etc.**Essential Responsibilities:**

1.

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including mental status exams and diagnostic interviews.

2.

Diagnose and treat mental health disorders using evidence-based practices,

3.

Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications specific to individual clients, with ongoing monitoring for efficacy and side effects,

4.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans specific to the client’s needs,

5.

Collaborate closely with care team including clinicians and behavior specialists, providing consultation for client care if needed,

6.

Engage in regular clinical team meetings and case reviews,

7.

Participate in quality improvement efforts and adhere to clinical best practices,

8.

Promote recovery–oriented, trauma informed, and culturally sensitive care,

9.

Complete all documentation consistent with discipline standards and as required by the program and federal and state guidelines and regulations.**Hours:** Full-time.**Compensation:** Starting $115,000 annually.
