JR2149**Job Description:**We are looking for a **Vice President of Residential Operations** to join our Easterseals NH team! The individual in this key position will provide strategic leadership and oversight for residential programming in multiple locations. This role ensures that residential operations deliver high-quality care, positive outcomes, and a culture of belonging and inclusion for youth and staff.
The Vice President will drive initiatives to enhance service outcomes, employee engagement, optimize resources, and ensure regulatory compliance, and work collaboratively with school, residential and clinical teams to promote student achievement, engagement, and well-being.**Key Responsibilities****Program Compliance & Quality*** Ensure compliance with program regulations across multiple states.* Lead CARF accreditation efforts, including preparation, reviews, and corrective actions.* Maintain safety and security of facilities, meeting licensing standards and best practices.* Oversee residential budgets, staffing models, and operational systems to achieve programmatic and financial goals.**Youth Care & Outcomes*** Implement and monitor individualized treatment plans to ensure measurable progress.* Provide youth with a safe, clean, and enriched environment.* Champion initiatives to improve student outcomes and overall program quality.* Oversee dining services to deliver nutritious, youth-centered meal programs.**Leadership & Culture*** Provide strategic and operational leadership across multiple sites.* Foster a culture of inclusion, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.* Model and reinforce trauma-informed care, equity, and empowerment principles.* Lead restraint reduction efforts in partnership with clinical and educational leadership.**Community Engagement*** Develop and sustain partnerships with community organizations, businesses, and stakeholders.* Represent the organization in community forums to enhance visibility and impact.**Workforce Development*** Lead recruitment, retention, and development of a high-performing, mission-driven workforce.* Oversee training programs that promote professional growth and consistent practices.* Supervise and mentor residential leadership teams, ensuring alignment with organizational values.* Monitor staff performance and implement strategies to improve engagement and reduce turnover.**Operational Excellence*** Manage staffing schedules and labor utilization to ensure coverage while minimizing overtime.* Partner with Admissions to maximize census and maintain appropriate payor mix.* Participate in on-call rotation to provide leadership during emergencies or crises.**Qualifications:*** Bachelor’s degree in human services, Education, Psychology, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.* Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive leadership experience in a residential setting.* Demonstrated success managing multi-site programs and large, diverse teams.* Strong understanding of trauma-informed care, youth development, and residential best practices.* Proven ability to build collaborative relationships with internal and external partners.* Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.* Ability to work flexible hours, including participation in the on-call rotation.* Computer proficiency, fiscal management, and communication skills.* Ability to execute emergency response techniques, as needed.* Reliable vehicle with auto insurance at the required limits.**Hours:** This is a full-time, exempt position.* Medical, Dental, Vision, Life & Disability* PTO begins accruing on your first day!* 10 Paid Holidays – includes a floating holiday of your choice* 403(b) employer match up to a maximum of 3%* Tuition reimbursement after one year of employment* Student loan repayment for qualifying degrees after one year of employment* Wellness programs: nutritional counseling services, reimbursement programs for weight loss & tobacco cessationWe are proud to be a recovery-friendly workplace and a NH Veteran-Friendly Business.wstavropoulos@eastersealsnh.orgEOEBecome part of a dynamic team dedicated to elevating all abilities, empowering lives, and fostering positive impact in the community.Join the Easterseals NH & VT family, where your passion meets purpose.Easterseals New Hampshire and Vermont elevates people of all abilities.
