Design and Analysis Engineer 3 - Electrical (Contract) — Tukwila, WA, United States (On-site) Contract (2 months 30 days) Published 2 days ago electrical • Design This posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full-time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project. Works with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements. Analyzes and translates requirements into system, hardware and software designs and interface specifications. Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements. Monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements. Solves problems concerning and provides other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle. Researches specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs. Minimum Qualifications
At least 2 years of general LabVIEW programming experience Experience with Queued Message Handler (QMH) Prior experience with interfacing between multiple data acquisition system hardware using LabVIEW Familiarity with LabVIEW Real-Time and FPGA Experience with data streaming protocols (TCP/UDP, RTP, custom protocols) and basic network troubleshooting Proven ability to work with and optimize legacy software and obsolete hardware Experience writing software and hardware documentation Diligent adherence to software engineering best practices Hands-on experience with troubleshooting hardware at the system and component level Electromechanical experience including but not limited to motion control, encoders, servomotors Understanding of time synchronization concepts (PTP/NTP) and timestamping best practices Position Responsibilities Develop, maintain, sustain, and document control and data acquisition projects from concept to completion using NI LabVIEW in Aerodynamics, Noise, and other lab test environments Integrate new hardware and software features into existing data acquisition systems and/or software applications Participate in the development lifecycle of new projects (work estimation and budgeting, extracting and creating requirements, technical design reviews, maintenance, etc) Provide customer service to support testing activities and communicate progress to stakeholders Implement a robust and scalable test infrastructure Develop modular and reusable code libraries for control and acquisition projects Familiarity with using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, digital multi-meters, protocol analyzers) to troubleshoot or debug hardware issues Pay Rate Range Min Pay Rate $62.35 Max Pay Rate $70 Currency USD Unit hourly Benefits Information Optional Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K About the company: Tundra Technical Solutions is among North America’s leading providers of Staffing and Consulting Services.
