4+ Years Responsibilities: Maintain DC Inventory Update Firmware, BIOS, and drivers Vendor coordination for hardware issues Share logs with vendors for hardware issues Manage parts received and returned Server mounting and movement Rack movement Network connectivity Coordination with teams (Network, VM, Storage, Backup & Unix) Coordinate with Logistics Team DC cleanup Labeling on racks and devices ATS and PDU installation/configuration Respond to customer queries and handle escalations Provide H&F support at Data Center to remote team Provide escort to vendor for activities under HCL Support at DC, MDF, IDF Data Center management MDF / IDF management DC walkthrough as per customer guidelines DC/MDF/IDF UPS management and support ER2 pickup scheduling and coordination Device rack/stack/un-rack Data Center access log management Spare hardware inventory management DC/MDF/IDF HVAC management and coordination DC/MDF/IDF power management and coordination Site visits to address/validate ISP; fiber cut and power issues Hardware replacements Involvement during monthly/weekly generator testing Provide H&F support for all required INC, SCTASK, and CHG Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Unix servers Manage and troubleshoot VMware versions 5.0, 6.5, 6.7, 7.0 Work with OEM hardware (DELL/Client/IBM) and remote connectivity tools Installation (vSphere 7.x), configuration (vCenter, ESX 7.x, SRM), and managing VMware environment VMware ESXi builds, troubleshooting, patching, support uplifts, and migration Configure and deploy new Dell, Client, and Cisco UCS Blades, including firmware and driver updates Troubleshoot storage components including internal storage, attached storages, SAN switches, HBA, LUN & mapping, RAID groups, and volume groups Troubleshoot hardware issues in storage environments and coordinate with multiple teams Analysis, optimization, design, installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting Provide H&F support for backup devices, rack-stack, and troubleshooting hardware issues Install, configure, and support network equipment including large routers, large switches, medium switches, and small switches Plan, communicate, and execute changes in the network environment following the customer change management process Manage and support UPS, PDUs connected with network gears and replace faulty batteries Work on pre-approved projects (PPH)
