Environmental, Operations and Construction (EOC) operates within HDR’s Federal Business Group, delivering services across HDR business groups at any location. Our work is performed by professional staff, scientists and engineers at remote sites, embedded in client office space or our own facilities. EOC provides quality engineering, environmental, and construction management services at competitive prices.
Responsibilities
Represent HDR with the client and provide sound technical advice, maintaining a high degree of professionalism
Utilize familiarity with government contracting to develop courses of action for clients to handle project issues
Coordinate actions with other HDR teammates and government representatives as needed
Oversee large multidiscipline projects or medium-sized projects with high technical complexity and sizable staff
Establish and maintain client relations; participate in marketing, contractual, design and production meetings
Conduct work sessions for deliverable development with staff and stakeholders
Coordinate staffing and workload through the project life cycle; ensure deliverables are completed on schedule
Track financial aspects of projects and adjust work effort to meet budget and schedule
Engage with Accounting, Operational, and Business leadership for periodic project reviews
Implement QA/QC procedures
If required, supervise large project staffs and mentor less-experienced Project Managers
Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
10 years related experience
A minimum of 5 years project management experience
Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the position location (e.g., PE or P.Eng)
MS Office and MS Project experience (Access experience a plus)
Demonstrated leadership, business development and strategic planning skills
Commitment to being an active participant of HDR’s employee-owned culture
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP certification
