The Collins Aerospace Avionics Test Engineering organization has an opportunity for a Senior Project Engineer leading multidisciplinary teams of engineers (including systems, mechanical, electrical, and software disciplines) developing complex engineering solutions. The Avionics Test Engineering organization is a global engineering organization responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of the manufacturing test solutions in support of the $5B Avionics strategic business unit as well as external customers including armed services and airlines both domestic and international. **Senior Project Engineer** Our ideal candidate will have an unwavering positive attitude, be highly responsive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, and perform high-quality work proactively and efficiently.

You should have strong project execution, leadership, and critical thinking skills. You should also be passionate about performing data analysis for creating accurate bids and crafting attractive proposals.This is a multi-faceted role requiring versatility across a variety of tasks in a highly collaborative environment. The role collaborates closely with engineers and leaders, at various locations around the globe, to ensure project success.

Manage project scope (requirements and change requests) ensuring it meets agreed to commitments

**QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:** Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience *or* an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience *or* in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience. Proficiency with developing and maintaining schedules using Microsoft Project Experience establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships

**QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER:** Problem-solving skills with ability to proactively identify alternate solutions to overcome difficult technical challenges.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals.
