Compensation We Offer
The initial compensation for this position ranges from
$73,463.40 - $90,358.09 per year .
Salary is dependent on commensurate experience above the minimum qualifications for the role and internal equity considerations.
The salary may also vary if you reside in a different location than the location posted.
8% License Differential for LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, PsyD, and select Peer Certifications.
7.5% Bilingual Differential for qualified positions.
$3,000 hiring incentive payout after 30 days and 6 months. Must meet company policy eligibility requirements.

Program Type Transitional Age Youth (TAY)
Population Served: 6-26
Scheduled Hours per Day: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Program Description The outpatient continuum program includes Family Therapeutic Services (FTS), Integrated Behavioral Health Services (IBHS), and Transitional Age Youth (TAY) sub-programs serving youth and families from age 6-26 with a spectrum of mental health needs through outpatient therapy. Services are clinic-based with limited community support. Services include individual therapy, family therapy, collateral support, case management, and group therapy. The outpatient program includes groups in both English and Spanish, including specialized child sexual abuse survivor groups for children, adolescents, and non-offending parents. Youth and families may have co-occurring issues related to youth and/or caregiver substance use.
Job Summary Works within the vision, mission and philosophy of the agency, and with limited supervision, provides comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, risk assessment, clinical interventions, case management, and coordination of therapeutic activities in the community. Ensures that documentation and maintenance of clinical records is completed per appropriate standards and regulations. Provides facilitation and support to enhance the efforts of youth and their families/caregivers in the design and implementation of evidence-based treatment. This position works directly with children and adults.
Responsibilities and Duties
Completes assessments and evaluations that are culturally relevant and appropriate to youth and family strengths and needs, including identification of target behaviors and the function of those target behaviors.
Independently develops effective treatment plans with clear and measurable intervention strategies, tailored to child and family strengths, needs and cultural preferences.
Provides clinical leadership regarding family system observations and relays behavioral data to the team in strengths-based, solution-focused terms throughout engagement, stabilization, planning, intervention and transition.
Records and collects clinical information in ways that promote family input while maintaining accountability to risks and threats associated with presenting problems.
Independently coordinates integration of Functional Behavior Analysis into overall child and family service plans with family members, referral sources, collateral contacts, and community resources involved with a child’s plan.
Facilitates development and refinement of effective behavior and risk-specific safety plans.
Monitors effectiveness and efficiency of interventions with youth and families.
Demonstrates proficiency in conflict management and mediation of teams.
Meets revenue and productivity standards.
Maintains effective organizational systems for paperwork/information management to support timelines and priorities.
Performs other related responsibilities, as assigned, to support department/business needs.

Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Minimum Education and/or Experience
Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or a closely related field.
One (1) year of supervised clinical experience with children.
Registration with the BBS or BOP required.
Licensed according to California state law (Welfare and Institutions Code section 5600.2) or become licensed within the designated time frame.
Preferred Qualifications
Two (2) to three (3) years of clinical experience with children.
Training in domestic violence, physical/sexual child abuse, trauma with the competency to maintain current knowledge related to state, county, and local law.
Experience with culturally diverse populations.
Bilingual communication skills in another language.
Other Specific Requirements
If program requires, employee must pass an initial physical abilities test (PATS) and be certified in crisis intervention techniques within the first 30 days and annually.
