$285/hour (1099)
Schedule:
12-hour shifts | Full-Time We are actively seeking a skilled Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team as an independent contractor. This is an opportunity to provide high-impact care in a hospital-based Level IV Trauma Center, working alongside a collaborative and supportive team. ️ Key Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive emergency care to patients of all ages
Assess, diagnose, and treat a broad range of acute medical conditions
Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Communicate clearly with patients and families on diagnosis and next steps
Collaborate with nurses, APPs, specialists, and administrative staff
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and CME
Stay current on best practices in emergency medicine
Qualifications
MD/DO with valid medical license or ability to obtain in ND
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine
Minimum of 2 years of emergency medicine experience
Must hold current BLS, ACLS, ATLS (PALS a plus)
Proficient in emergency procedures: Intubations, Chest Tubes, Central Lines, Procedural Sedation, Critical Care, OB/Deliveries, Pediatric & Adult Resuscitation
Strong communication skills and team-based care mindset
Must have completed at least 250 emergency medicine cases in the past 12 months
Schedule & Coverage
12-hour shifts
Flexible full-time scheduling
Mix of day, night, and weekend shifts
