Respite program staff provide crisis stabilization and supports to help clients move toward stability and independence. Staff engage with clients, monitor safe medication practices, support daily independent living skills, assess risk and crisis situations, and provide case management supports as needed. The program is staffed 24/7 and collaborates with CHR programs, primary health services and pharmacies to support those in our care. Develop skills in crisis intervention, de-escalation, and behavioral health management. Requirements:

Self-driven, mental health experience, adaptability, and a valid driver’s license. Duties & Responsibilities

Maintain physical environment and program standards per CHR, DMHAS, JCAHO and licensing standards. Monitor medications of all residents in accordance with policy and procedures. Use appropriate communication methods/tools to transfer information to staff regarding the day’s events. Teach and assist residents in rehab areas including nutrition and healthy living, meal preparation, hygiene, laundry, banking and budgeting, and basic home care skills. Assist/manage administrative functions and tasks as directed by the supervisor. Prepare and facilitate educational and skill-building groups and one-to-one interventions as directed by the treatment plan. Collaborate and coordinate care with providers and families as needed. Assist residents in addressing medical and psychiatric needs. Maintain documentation in compliance with agency and program standards. Participate in staff meetings, supervision, trainings and other meetings as assigned. Additional duties as required. Qualifications

Experience:

Two years’ experience working with a relevant population preferred. L icensure/Certification/Registration:

Valid driver’s license required with good driving record. Benefits & Compensation

Compensation : Starting at $17.00/hr min., and up commensurate upon experience. Actual rates are determined at offer time and may vary by program/location and eligibility. Some positions may include differentials or sign-on incentives. Part-time pro-rating applies based on hours worked. Benefits:
