Probate, Guardianship, and Estate Planning Paralegal
looking for a dynamic and growth-oriented law firm? Miami Family Law Group is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about helping families navigate complex legal matters with compassion and precision. Responsibilities Draft and prepare probate pleadings (formal and summary administrations), guardianship petitions, inventories, accountings, and estate planning documents (wills, trusts, powers of attorney, deeds). Manage all stages of probate and guardianship cases, including filing through the Florida e-Filing Portal and tracking deadlines through case management software (Clio). Communicate effectively with clients, court clerks, and opposing counsel. Maintain accurate case notes, deadlines, and follow-up tasks in Clio Manage. Assist attorneys in preparing estate plans, including funding of trusts, asset organization, and deed transfers. Monitor court dockets, prepare accountings and annual guardianship plans, and ensure compliance with Florida statutes. Manage multiple matters simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail and client service. Qualifications
3+ years of experiencein Florida probate, guardianship, and/or estate planning required. Strong understanding of Florida probate rules, guardianship procedures, and estate planning concepts. Proficiency in Clio Manage, Microsoft Office, and the Florida e-Filing Portal. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage deadlines. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required. Notary public or the ability to obtain one is a plus.
