Overview
Vault Communications, a 2024 and 2025 winner of The Philadelphia Inquirer Top Workplaces award and a five-time recipient of the Philadelphia Business Journal Best Places to Work designation, is on the lookout for a seasoned public relations professional who thrives in an autonomous, entrepreneurial culture to join our growing agency as a Senior Account Executive (SAE).
Responsibilities
Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for clients and act as the project manager for all work, including media relations, thought leadership/executive positioning, social/digital content, and beyond.
Direct, lead, motivate, teach, and mentor Account Coordinators, Assistant Account Executives, and Account Executives.
Foster excellent communication and rapport with clients; personally execute a majority of tactical recommendations when appropriate, or supervise delegation and execution to ensure measurable results.
Lead the strategic planning process for a client when applicable.
PLEASE NOTE: 3 years of experience in public relations is absolutely required for this position, preferably in an agency setting.
Our ideal candidate has:
3-6 years total of agency experience or applicable communication, PR, marketing communication or journalism experience
Excellent tactical writing skills, including press releases, pitch letters, media alerts, speeches, collateral copy, bylined articles, op-eds, presentations, case studies, digital content and client and/or internal emails
Excellent public speaking/interpersonal skills, especially for client presentations, client meetings and new business pitches
Excellent analytical, multi-tasking and organizational skills
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines
Excellent judgment and problem-solving skills, and the ability to make strategic, sound recommendations to clients, peers and management
Boundless creativity
Fearless approach to media relations
Strong digital/social media background
Resourcefulness and chutzpah
Desire to grow, learn, lead and thrive
Other requirements
Professional level mastery of the English language
Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to various locations
