As a Hot Topic Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1, you'll support the store leadership team in providing excellent customer service, training new team members, and assisting with daily operations and sales targets. What You'll Do
Provide an engaging shopping experience to encourage customer loyalty, utilizing your product knowledge and customer service skills. Support store operations by stepping in on the sales floor and assisting the management team as needed. Open and close the store responsibly, ensuring security and readiness. Operate the register, process sales, and promote additional benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup. Understand and contribute to store sales goals and KPIs such as UPT and ADT. Assist with planogram updates and visual merchandising. Communicate fashion and music trends to management and HQ partners. Maintain store security and prevent theft in collaboration with management. Help keep the stockroom organized and the store tidy. Contribute to building a passionate, collaborative team environment. Perform any other duties as assigned by your Store Leader. What You'll Need
At least 1 year of retail experience, preferably with a passion for music and pop culture. Strong communication, time management, professionalism, and operational skills. A high school diploma or GED. The ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and lift up to 50 pounds.
