As a Hot Topic Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1, you’ll support the store leadership team by providing excellent customer service, training new team members, and assisting with daily operations and sales targets. What You'll Do Provide an engaging shopping experience that encourages customer loyalty through product knowledge and customer service skills. Support store leadership by stepping in on the sales floor and assisting with management duties as needed. Handle opening and closing procedures for the store. Operate the register, process sales, and promote add-on sales using store benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup. Understand sales goals and key performance indicators such as UPT and ADT. Assist with planogram updates and merchandising efforts. Communicate fashion and music trends to management and HQ partners. Work with store management to prevent theft and ensure store security. Maintain organized stockroom and store cleanliness. Contribute to building a passionate, collaborative team. Perform any additional duties assigned by the Store Leader. What You'll Need At least 1 year of retail experience, preferably with a passion for music and pop culture. Strong skills in communication, time management, professionalism, and team development. A high school diploma or GED. Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and lift up to 50 pounds.
