Job Description The HR Benefits Manager is responsible for managing the benefit program, vendor relationships, plan design, and HRIS benefit administration. The role provides expertise and strategic insight to senior leadership on employee benefit programs, administers daily operations, and ensures cost-effective benefits administration. Key responsibilities include: Providing excellent customer service to employees regarding benefits issues. Partnering with station managers and HR leadership to communicate policies, procedures, and regulations. Managing the HRIS benefits system, including updates, plan changes, and troubleshooting. Executing open enrollment processes, including communication and project planning. Ensuring compliance with federal and regulatory requirements related to employee benefits. Reconciliation of benefits invoices and conducting audits for data accuracy. Preparing notices for FMLA and ADA, tracking FMLA leave, and communicating with stations. Auditing and ensuring compliance with Form I-9 requirements. Assisting with worker’s compensation and DOT audits. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. At least 8 years of experience in Benefit Administration within a private organization. Extensive experience negotiating vendor terms and rates. Strong data analysis skills to inform decision-making. Experience with Ceridian Dayforce is preferred.
