We’re on the search for a Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 2 that will help lead our civic-minded, pop culture-driven brand. You’ll support the Store Manager in achieving store objectives, including hitting sales targets, recruiting, and development.
Responsibilities
Support your Store Manager in achieving the sales plan and/or comparable sales goals.
Help recruit, develop, and retain a collaborative, passionate team to run your store alongside you.
Promote engagement through product promotions, social media, and services such as BOPIS and curbside pickup.
Provide leadership around an operationally sound business with the right balance of operations, delegation/autonomy, and customer-first selling practices.
Monitor shrink/loss prevention, payroll hours, and associate schedules.
Collaborate with retail leadership and HQ partners on trends and customer feedback.
Run sales reports and use data to guide your strategy to hit sales targets.
Merchandise the store in a compelling way using planograms as guidance and launch all promotions on time.
Develop high-performing, customer-focused associates in partnership with the Store Manager.
Qualifications
1-2 years of retail store management experience. If you’re passionate about philanthropy and all things pop culture, you’re in the right place!
You’ve led teams to success and want to do more; skills include communication, recruiting, operations (payroll, reporting, scheduling, merchandising), and developing others.
Strong communication, time management, professionalism, operations, and a drive to develop your teammates.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED; a degree is a plus.
Adaptability in a fast-changing retail environment and ability to handle curveballs.
Physical ability to navigate the store, merchandise products using approved equipment, and to pack and unpack boxes up to 50 pounds (with or without reasonable accommodation).
