Overview Disney’s Addressable Ad Operations team is seeking an Account Manager to join our Sales and Advertising Operations team on one or more of our exciting brands. These brands include The Walt Disney Company’s global entertainment and news properties, owned television stations, and radio and publishing businesses, including ABC, ESPN, Hulu, Disney Channels Worldwide, Freeform, FX, National Geographic, Disney/ABC Domestic Television, and Disney Media Distribution.

Job Summary In this role, you will partner with one or more Account Executives who sell media space across Disney’s digital properties. Assigned campaigns could be direct, programmatic, or a combination of both. The primary responsibilities are to ensure proper campaign implementation, provide optimization recommendations to aid performance and delivery, and deliver best-in-class client service to top-tier accounts. Responsibilities and Duties of the Role

Support high-profile and complex video/display ad campaigns for top-tier advertisers across Disney’s digital platforms.

Ensure accurate campaign set-up on ad servers/SSPs.

Collaborate with internal and external campaign stakeholders to ensure successful execution of direct and programmatic campaigns.

Assist clients with Direct, PMP and/or Programmatic Guaranteed set-up.

Secure campaign assets and drive creative kick-off calls.

Ensure client’s ad creative is to spec and communicate changes required to clients/DSPs.

Manage campaign implementation, including trafficking of video/display assets and ad tags.

Provide top-tier client communication related to ad experience, programmatic offerings, delivery, optimization, reporting expectations, and billing reconciliation.

Leverage automation to expedite accuracy and delivery where possible.

Troubleshoot campaign performance by investigating ad server bugs, third-party discrepancies, and under-delivery issues.

Test video/display assets across OTT, mobile, and desktop.

Provide full campaign delivery with screenshots and cadenced reporting, including post-campaign insights.

Support all advertisers strategically, regularly suggesting optimizations and insights to foster brand loyalty.

Project manage custom/complex ad offerings, including content sponsorships and new or intricate creative formats.

Become an authority in direct business offerings/SSPs/programmatic advertising ecosystem.

Collaborate with stakeholders to close out monthly billing and resolve invoicing queries for all managed campaigns.

On-call support may be required for after-hours client-related emergencies.

Required Education, Experience, Skills and Training Minimum:

2+ years of professional advertising and/or media experience, or 1+ year in a large advertising sales (multi-brand portfolio) entertainment company with strong client-facing, digital and online media experience.

Digital ad trafficking experience in programmatic/direct/both.

Experience with digital ecosystem, including third-party ad servers (DCM, Adform, Innovid, etc.) and ad serving technologies (VAST, VPAID).

Familiarity with Advertising Research and Verification vendors (Nielsen, DoubleVerify, Integral Ad Science, Millward Brown, etc.).

Professional written/verbal communication skills with customers.

Ability to articulate thoughts clearly; quick learner and detail-oriented; strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholder requests.

Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; quick to learn new tools.

Experience with Google Ad Manager, Operative, and/or Magnite SSP preferred but not required.

Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree with focus in media, advertising, or related field.

Strong interest in digital media, advertising, and emerging technologies.

Comfort with tech including consumer websites, mobile devices, OTT and connected TV, industry ad servers, and custom ad products.

Familiarity with a broad range of business disciplines including ad sales, creative services, revenue operations, inventory planning, yield optimization, and marketing.

Knowledgeable about industry ad categories and online sales channels; ability to translate requirements into technical/operational solutions.

Familiar with technical troubleshooting tools.

The hiring range for this position in Chicago, IL is $79,400 to $106,400 and Seattle, WA is $83,200 to $111,500 per year. The base pay offered will consider internal equity and may vary by geographic region, knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on level and position offered.
