Overview
As a Senior Global Account Manager located in the Western U.S., you will be responsible for establishing IR HiRel as a business and technology partner accelerating revenue growth at Infineon’s global strategic Aerospace, Defense, and High reliability customers. The GAM will define and lead the strategy for the account with a focus on building a trusted relationship through solving our customers’ most important technical and business objectives with Infineon’s leading semiconductor solutions. The ideal candidate will be a leader of high integrity who sets ambitious targets while taking ownership of decisions, actions, and challenges to achieve success. In addition, a combination of technical knowledge with sales skills to translate complex product features into technical and business benefit is crucial. Responsibilities
Be responsible for creating, leading, and winning new opportunities that drive the highest value and largest revenue growth Maintain opportunity tracking and accurate forecasting Create strategies to capture new and competitive business; chart opportunity potential across account locations and understand where technology gaps exist to achieve growth Anticipate customer needs and understand their problems to lead field resources, business line team members, and internal executives to capture growth opportunities Grow and strengthen customer relationships with key stakeholders in engineering, procurement, operations, program management, quality, and up to C-level executives Facilitate the engagement of Infineon IR HiRel senior leadership with the customer’s C-level leadership to foster deeper partnerships Understand the customer\'s ecosystem (end customers, market, design partners); manage contract negotiations, pricing, and overall business relationships Your Profile
A minimum of 12 years of professional technical semiconductor sales or marketing experience, including a minimum of 5 years of experience supporting large, complex accounts In-depth knowledge of Aerospace, Defense, and High Reliability market trends and customers Proven success in taking ownership of generating and building relationships with a wide range of customer contacts, including management and C-Level executives Team player with problem-solving skills and ability to challenge appropriately to solve difficult challenges as necessary to drive results Ability and willingness to travel 25% of the time Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Business, with equivalent technical sales experience; MBA is a plus High integrity with a personal commitment to excellence, a positive attitude, and an entrepreneurial thinker with excellent judgment when making decisions Demonstrated leadership characteristics and skills necessary to lead matrixed resources to a vision, achieving strategic goals resulting in revenue growth About Power & Sensor Systems (PSS)
