The Global Market Research & Insights team touch many of IGT’s internal business functions and are also customer facing, US team more than others in consideration of B2B focus. Therefore, this is a high-profile role that is pivotal in the company’s success in B2B market. This is an exciting role that can be summarized into three work streams: firstly, to ensure coordinate and execute the US market research program ensuring actionable insights; secondly, to deliver contractual market research programs to lottery customers, building positive customer relationships and positioning IGT as an industry thought leader; and finally, to advise, coordinate and execute jurisdictional level market research to internal sales, business development teams. Role Overview:

This role is central in coordinating and overseeing the provision of robust market understanding for our internal global lottery product, game content, global lottery operations, marketing communication, business development teams and lottery customers. This role will collaborate with the Senior Director Global Market Insights and other reports responsible for Italy (B2C) and ilottery, ensuring coordinated approaches where appropriate. This role will primarily focus on delivery of high-quality research projects on time and on budget. The person in this role performs a wide range of duties including evaluation of and contracting with outside research vendors, development of new research tools, research data analysis, presentations, research protocol and survey design and implementation and other research functions as necessary. This role will be responsible for developing relationships with research vendors where IGT is seen as a partner in the projects and not simply a customer. They will also maintain a database of secondary resources and distribute accordingly with overlaid industry insights. The successful candidate will have a continuous improvement mindset; they will be keen to develop high performing individuals and explore ways that technology can improve both processes and outputs. Responsibilities

Leadership: Manage the US Market Research team. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement. Provide thought leadership internally and companywide on market research best practices and innovations through involvement in industry organizations and events. Stakeholder Management: Build collaborative relationships with all stakeholders in the end-to-end research process including Senior Staff, Sales (RVPs, ADMs), Product Management, Game Content, Corporate and Field Marketing, Business Proposals, Capture Management and others. Ensure alignment of goals, timelines and expectations. Primary Research: Research includes primary and secondary studies that provide management the necessary market-based data to make business decisions. Studies support Product, Game, and Marketing Communications Strategies, Proposal Teams, New and Existing Lottery Game Development, New Marketing Concepts and senior management directed ad hoc requests such as the Global Customer Satisfaction, Influencer and Industry Leadership Studies. Secondary Research: Manages secondary research effort including but not limited to technology, demographics, market sizing, market players and share, customers, competitors, industry profiling, regulatory environment and trends. Manages licenses with outside secondary research firms. Direct Research: Management, execution and socialization of IGT’s Agile Panel Tool ensuring high quality surveys and response presentations in a highly compacted timeframe. Management of the internal research tool (Survey Monkey) used for quick feedback from workshops, conferences and also LSR and other IGT and Lottery associates. Customer Relationships: Accountable for end-to-end management and delivery of customer research projects funded by IGT site operations and presentations to lottery staff and senior management. Organizes, manages and leads an industry annual Marketing Insights Workshop attended by B2B customer and IGT market researchers. Vendor Management: Manages suppliers in terms of their due diligence, quality of work, and the execution of the research process against stated objectives and contracted terms. Knowledge Management: Plans, organizes, and hosts the monthly departmental wide meeting facilitating sharing of previously developed presentations to highlight the role of success of other departments within the Lottery Product and Sales Development function. Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices in market research management. Continually seek to improve processes and tools associated with research and insights projects. Budget Management: US Annual budget development and continuous monitoring including communications with stakeholders and IGT finance team. Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience: In-depth knowledge of the lottery industry (desired). In-depth knowledge of market research best practices and techniques. Proven experience in a leadership role within a market research team. Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or related field. Master’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred. 6-8 years of experience in similar research roles. Key Skills: Detailed knowledge of IGT and industry best practices for lottery research. Ability to develop strong personal relationships. Excellent communication skills both, verbal and written, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and internal customers. Ability to think conceptually and act decisively. A proven track record of turning data into insights and actionable recommendations. Strong accuracy in market analysis and in managing data. Highly organized with attention to detail, time management skills and the ability to multitask across multiple projects and studies. Self-motivated with the ability to build and appropriately manage internal business relationships. Strong team working spirit, open to cultural diversities (part of global team and the global team leader are not in the US), good problem-solving attitude. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Good marketing sensitivity. Strong interest in the role of technology in business and process improvement. Keys to Success

The estimated starting compensation range is $90,746 - $200,000. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable. Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses.
