Client Service Associate

About the Role
Our client is seeking a diligent, client-oriented
Client Service Associate
who will serve as a front-desk presence and administrative support to a team of advisors. This is a hybrid role combining client service and administrative responsibilities, with room for growth into deeper advisory support roles. As the first point of contact, you’ll help foster strong relationships with clients, support operational workflows, and assist in executing daily client requests. You’ll work in a collaborative environment supporting multiple advisors and associates, including one associate who is nearing retirement. Key Responsibilities
Serve as the front desk liaison: greet clients, answer phones, assist walk-ins, and route inquiries appropriately
Provide administrative support including document intake, scheduling, office logistics, and general operations
Act as a key point of contact for client questions or concerns; escalate to advisors when needed
Maintain and update client records in the CRM (Salesforce)
Own account maintenance tasks: prepare and collect required documentation, support transfers, liaise with custodians
Assist in executing money transfers, facilitating trades, and handling ad hoc client requests
Generate and substantiate meeting reports, prep materials, and presentation support
Help coordinate and drive team projects and process improvements, tracking tasks through to completion
Work across internal teams (investment, operations, accounting) to ensure client needs are fulfilled
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
Minimum 2–4 years of relevant client service, administrative, or EA experience
in financial services
(for more senior title, 4+ years preferred)
Strong communication skills (verbal, written); client-facing comfort required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM preferred
Series 65 license a plus (but not required)
High level of professionalism, organization, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to work fully in-office 5 days per week
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range:
$65,000 to $80,000+ , depending on experience and skill set
