Overview
We are seeking a hands-on HR Generalist to join our client's team in Valencia. This is a fully onsite, temporary role covering maternity leave through the end of January 2026. The ideal candidate is an adaptable HR professional with solid generalist experience, particularly in leave management (LOA/FMLA), workers' compensation claims, and all around HR related duties, who can jump in quickly and provide support across all core HR functions. We are looking for someone who can start ASAP! Base pay range $33.00/hr - $40.00/hr Duration:
Temporary - covering maternity leave, through the end of January 2026 Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary point of contact for employees, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employee relations Manage and support leave of absence (LOA) requests, FMLA administration, and workers' compensation claims, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations Manage time and attendance tracking, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions Support employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, offboarding, and benefits administration Partner with managers and employees to address HR-related inquiries with professionalism and discretion Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies, maintaining accurate documentation and reporting Handle HR administrative tasks such as recordkeeping, file maintenance, and data entry into HRIS systems Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or an HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, etc.) required 3+ years of HR Generalist or HR support experience Strong knowledge of LOA, FMLA, workers' compensation, and payroll/timekeeping processes required Experience in a food manufacturing or similar fast-paced environment strongly preferred Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities Ability to work fully onsite in Valencia, CA Availability to start immediately (ASAP) Seniority level
