This is an exciting opportunity for a professional, detail-oriented individual who enjoys managing the payroll function. As the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end payroll management of a highly professional team. Our client is seeking a trustworthy and discreet professional with solid corporate experience who can ensure accuracy and compliance. Job Duties: Lead the end-to-end payroll process for all employees, ensuring timely and accurate compensation. Manage and process payroll for approximately 150 employees. Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll provider, overseeing the accurate and timely processing of payroll. Manage the administration of employee stock and dividend programs, ensuring all related payroll tax requirements are met. Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, as well as international tax laws. Partner with the accounting and HR teams to provide regular payroll reporting and strategic financial insights. Resolve any payroll discrepancies, questions, or issues, providing a high level of professional and confidential support to all employees. Conduct internal audits of payroll data and processes to maintain data integrity and identify areas for improvement. Job Requirements: A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in payroll administration. Proven experience in managing multi-state U.S. payroll processes and overseeing international payroll with third-party providers a plus. Expertise with enterprise-level payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, SAP) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. Demonstrated experience with complex payroll components, including stock-based compensation and equity management. Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations and a commitment to ensuring full compliance. The ability to handle highly confidential information with absolute trustworthiness and professionalism. A meticulous approach to data entry, audits, and reporting to maintain accuracy and prevent errors. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with employees at all levels, from entry-level staff to executive leadership.
