Summary The Administrative Program Coordinator for Advancing Health Equity (P4HE Collaborative) provides support to the HES4A Director in coordinating and implementing cohort-building events, master classes, writing retreats, and trainings for scholars. Responsibilities include assisting with calendar management, coordinating communications with the P4HE Team, outside vendors, and key offices at Tulane. Tasks involve scheduling virtual activities, drafting related materials, managing mailing lists, drafting communications, expense tracking, and invoice processing. Other duties as needed. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management skills, strong writing and grammar skills, experience with Concur, creativity, and a mission-oriented outlook. Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Experience in a professional/administrative setting Excellent written, presentation, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills Experience adhering to timelines and workflows Experience coordinating virtual events on Zoom or other platforms Ability to work well independently and in a team, handle multiple tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Adobe Suite, Zoom, and project management tools Background Checks Selected candidates must complete and pass a background check and occupational health screening. A drug screening may also be required. Education and Experience High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 2 years of relevant experience Or relevant education, experience, and certifications Preferred Qualifications Master’s in Public Health or related field Proficiency in virtual event management Experience with administrative tasks Experience in academic settings Experience in Public Health and/or Health Communications Writing experience Knowledge of research and scholarly publishing Additional Details
