Chewy is currently seeking a Human Resources Administrator at our Wilkes-Barre, PA Fulfillment Center. We are looking for someone to provide administrative support to the human resources function as needed (e.g., correspondence generation, record keeping, file maintenance, HRIS entry) and act as the first point of contact for employees regarding HR issues. What You’ll Do

Coordinate all new hire related activities including new team member communication, on-site preparation, orientation scheduling, and assist leadership with onboarding questions and tasks as it relates to new hires. Conduct on-site new employee orientations to ensure employees gain an understanding of benefit plans, policies, and procedures. Responsible for completing new employee I-9 forms and audits as needed. Complete attendance reporting, process time sheet punches and payroll adjustments to ensure accuracy of time sheets. Process shift transfer changes and changes within due dates. Maintain employee files, initiate drug and background screenings, and conduct routine file audits. Write, revise, edit and proofread company policies and procedures and related documents as needed. Use phone, email, bulletin boards and other communication methods to disseminate information. Produce the Company telephone directory. Assign lockers to new employees and maintain an accurate log of available lockers. Support the assigned HRBP function and local HR team with administrative tasks. Perform other HR duties as assigned. Assist with planning and implementing HR and other office events. What You’ll Need

Preferred Bachelor’s degree; major in business or human resources preferred. 1 to 3 years of experience coordinating general human resources duties required. Must have digital literacy and the ability to learn HRIS systems (Paychex or Kronos). Must be proficient in MS Office products, especially Excel. We Offer The Following Benefits
