Overview
Personal Risk Sales Advisor (hybrid VT or upstate NY) – Licensed P&C and experienced in all facets of Personal Insurance. This is not a producer role. The New Business Department is a sales team that advises and delivers personal insurance products tailored to the prospective insured. New business leads come from non-solicited opportunities and referrals. The role focuses on delivering an educated buying experience through a single point of contact, with strong computer, verbal and written communications in a team environment with agency partners, company leadership and staff. This is a full-time position with a hybrid schedule from listed locations in VT or upstate NY. Responsibilities
Knowledge of various Carrier Appetites and Carrier Websites Work closely with Carrier Underwriters to determine risk placement Utilize EPIC agency management system, rating system and carrier websites to provide accurate, timely quotes Execute policy correspondence delivery per agency guidelines and procedures Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors and carrier representatives Assist with special projects as assigned by management Qualifications
P&C License required upon hire 3 or more years of P&C experience is required Experience in personal lines/risk insurance sales, underwriting or account management is required Demonstrated experience and knowledge of various PL carriers Experience with EPIC or other agency management systems preferred What We Offer

The base salary range for this position is $45,000 – $68,000 plus commission on new business. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location.
