Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the site staffing plan.
Manage employee onboarding processes.
Develop and implement site talent management plans, including promotions, role re-assignments, and succession planning, aligned with division-wide processes.
Oversee hourly compensation systems and support divisional salary administration.
Handle employee relations issues.
Lead BU employment policy initiatives, including recommending new policies and updating existing ones.
Support employee engagement and organizational development plans, including communication, recognition, and supervisor development.
Develop and execute training and development plans, contributing to division initiatives.
Coordinate benefit plans and communicate with corporate benefits teams.
Manage HRIS systems for the Business Unit.
Organize employee events and wellness activities.
Support site HSE plans and employee issues related to safety.
Provide coaching and mentoring to supervisors and employees.
Manage HR staff.
Lead division-wide HR projects and initiatives.
Support HR functions for international BU’s, including talent metrics, engagement, recruiting, and retention.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications/Characteristics:
Minimum 5 years as an HR Manager.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Broad knowledge of HR disciplines and best practices.
Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
Experience in workforce planning and recruiting.
Knowledge of employment law and HRIS systems.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Alignment with AI Core Values.
Preferred: SPHR/PHR certification, aerospace or regulated industry experience, manufacturing environment experience.
Working Conditions:
Office setting with indoor duties, moderate noise, and comfortable temperatures. Ability to work 24/7 schedule as needed. Some remote work possible. Travel may be required.
Physical Requirements:
Occasionally move office items over 10 lbs., move around production and office areas, remain stationary up to 75%, and operate a computer frequently.
