The Sentinel Firm, APC is a plaintiff's law firm based in Los Angeles, specializing in employment law. We are growing rapidly and offer unique advancement opportunities for the right candidate. This role is to hire a junior associate for our wage and hour class action department. Responsibilities
Represent victims of wage theft on a class-wide basis (unpaid overtime, meal and rest breaks, unreimbursed expenses, and more). Provide legal counsel, draft legal documents, take/defend depositions, and advocate for clients in and out of the courtroom. Work on state and federal plaintiff’s-side class action litigation against regional, national, and Fortune 500 companies in multiple industries. Be trained to manage your own cases under the supervision of senior attorneys and grow with the firm. Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Active member of the California State Bar in good standing; recent graduates awaiting bar results considered. Experience is not required; we will train the right candidate. Excellent research, writing, and communication skills. Ability to handle a caseload independently and meet deadlines; detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. 100% in-person at our brand-new downtown Los Angeles office. Salary and Benefits
Starting salary for this position is $90,000–$110,000 annually, based on experience, plus year-end bonuses.
